Start with the shoe label

Choose the printed size system, size group and value: for example, US Women 8 or EU Unisex 42. The same number in another system or group can mean a different fit.

More than one printed size?

Sellers can include each size shown on the label. Compare the photographs and the brand’s own size guide; UsedSoles does not automatically convert sizes.

If the label is missing

The seller must say that the size is an unverified estimate and include an interior photograph. Ask for useful measurements and what they measure. Fit varies by brand and model.

Before agreeing to buy

Check the seller’s measurements, ask questions and try the pair on when practical.
